Hospitality Leader

Department: Sales & Brand Growth
Location: Wilson, NC

As Hospitality Leader you will lead by example as a Remarkable team member. The Hospitality Leader reports to the Restaurant Marketing Director. The Hospitality Leader will lead the team to serve and impact lives beyond the transaction in a REMARKable way.  This position requires 30+ hours each week and regular Saturday work.

  • Model Operator mission and vision:  It is imperative that the individual in this position model G.R.E.A.T. and treat every guests, team member and community peer with honor, dignity and respect.  This position requires community engagement and this individual must embody and demonstrate leadership on and off the clock. Behavior must never be a liability for the brand.

  • Strong desire to plan and achieve goals:  Yearly planning and focus points are imperative for this position.  Monthly goals are required along with action items to achieve those goals.  A draft of the yearly plan should be submitted by November 1 of the prior year. Monthly goals/plans are due by the 15th of the previous month.  These plans should be submitted to the Restaurant Marketing Director for review and discussion.

  • Guest Recovery and C.A.R.E.S. should be handled within 24 hours of receipt

  • Catering survey follow up should be completed within 48 hours of catering and issues should be communicated to Director of Community, Marketing Director and Catering Leader immediately

  • Deliver Cows to the hospital and maintain good working relationship with nursing staff

  • Create a tracking system and follow up with report cards and team extracurricular activities to ensure Chick-fil-A Wilson involvement beyond the restaurant

  • Team member birthdays celebrated with cupcakes the 3rd Thursday of every month announcements should be made in the GroupMe and on other team platforms

  • Delivering a remarkable dining experience for all guests

  • Coaching the behaviors of all team leaders and members who work the front counter and dining room.  Those behaviors include:

    • Hustle that creates a surprisingly fast speed of service

    • Execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment

    • Delivering Recipe for Service

    • Cash management best practices

    • Table touch-ins

    • Second mile service

    • H.E.A.R.D.

  • Create relevant training tools for Hospitality

  • Ensure new team members are adequately trained in all areas of hospitality

  • Once a quarter lead a hospitality meeting for calibration

  • Assist with Supervisor meeting once a month to teach skills on serving guests and handling problems

  • Respond to all CEM, Cares emails and cards

  • Aligning daily practices of Hospitality with the Vision and the annual goals


Other Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with Marketing Events

  • Assistance with large Catering Events

  • Communicate with leadership team concerning C.A.R.E.S issues
